Donna Leven

Donna has lived in Hendersonville, NC since 1994 when she opened her own business, The Wood Shed. She is a self-taught woodworker and decorative painter.
     Donna's beautiful work is ideal for the mountain lodge, lake house, den, or cabin and her work appears in several catalogs such as The J. Peterman, Orvis, Plow and Hearth, and Bass Pro. She is also a featured woodcutter for a number of well known published decorative artists.
     As a participating artist in the Hendersonville Downtown Public Art program for the last 7 years, Donna has painted 9 bears, a goat, and an apple, two of which are still displayed on Main St.
     Donna is a certified instructor for the Donna Dewberry One-Stroke painting technique and offers private lessons on this technique as well as others.
     Donna is a charter member of the Carolina Mountain Artists Guild and has served as President until early in 2010.
