George
George of
Hendersonville, North Carolina and Florida has named his business,
Heritage Decorative Decoys. His carvings are all his
expression of an age-old art.
An avid sportsman, George has spent a
lifetime observing wildlife in its natural habitat. Heritage
decoys are available as realistic, stylized or antique reproductions
of decoys used for hunting. The attention to detail, quality
of carving and painting and the carver's signature contribute to the
decoy's value as a collectible.
George is a member of many wood
carver associations and several guilds. He won the,
Teacher of the Year,
award for Wood Carving at the University Club in 1999.
