Rajeania Snider has been a professional craftsperson since 1978, working in basketry and book arts with a deep interest in Asian art and crafts. She is a University of Tennessee graduate with a degree in Fine Arts. Rajeania has taught at Columbia College Center for Books in Chicago, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and currently teaches for John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC. Rajeania was also Assistant Director of New Prospect Craft Center in Knoxville, TN for five years and an Artist-in-Resident for the Tennessee State Arts Commission and the Knoxville Arts Council. Originally from Maryville, TN, she now lives in Hendersonville, NC.
