Tole Painter

Cathy Riley of Hendersonville, North Carolina, is more than just a tole painter.  She also uniquely dresses teddy bears, makes specialty picture album covers, and one-of-a-kind Christmas ornaments.  She likes to use her creative talents in many crafted and painted products. 

Cathy started painting with instruction from Guild member, Elizabeth Lindsey, and has since been self-taught in her many talents.  Although she has received no special awards for her works, she has received the praises of many.  Cathy comes from a family of crafters and painters.  Her sister Annette Holbert is also a talented Guild member.  Cathy will be pleased to do a custom order for you.  She is a charter member of the Guild.
