Meet the Artists

Julian H. Biller

Julian H. Biller is a native of New York City, but has lived south of the Mason-Dixon line for the last 40 years.

Julian moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1969 and spent most of the next 36 years as a school psychologist and educational administrator. At that time his passions were boating, gardening, cooking, and music.

After moving to the mountains of North Carolina, Julian has maintained his love of cooking, gardening (he is a Master Garden Volunteer), and music (he is an active member of the Asheville Symphony Guild). Julian also conducts Segway tours of the NC Arboretum.

Julian was first attracted to broom making because of its novelty, and after intensive training, has developed a style distinctly his own. His brooms incorporate seasonal decorations, natural items, and stained glass pieces he creates himself.

Custom "theme" brooms can be ordered; simply call the artist with your ideas.
