Johnny Berger

Johnny received his first camera at age ten and soon discovered he could capture the moods of places as well as record events.  As his military family traveled around the world, Johnny was   provided the opportunity for his interpretation of the interplay of light, color and contrast. Johnny continued his love for photography while working behind the scenes printing and color correcting photos for Seattle Filmworks as well as running his own business as a commercial   photographer.  He then moved to Fairfield, Connecticut to manage a combined photo lab and retail store.

Now retired to the mountains of North Carolina, Johnny is continuing his love of the camera.   If his art awakens in the viewer a forgotten memory or inspires the viewer to pursue an unfilled promise, then Johnny's creativity and traveling will have come full circle.
